Every great journey starts with the right guidance.
It’s not guidance from a desk — it’s advice from someone who just got off the plane.
Our mentors are real students and recent grads who’ve just done what you’re trying to do — whether that’s getting into your dream university, landing a scholarship, or figuring out how to survive your first winter abroad. They’ll give you the honest answers counsellors can’t. What worked, what flopped, what they wish they knew, and what no one tells you until it’s too late.

They’ve actually lived it — panic, deadlines, visa drama and all.
Counsellors are great for the big picture stuff. But students? They give you the real talk. The "this is what I wish I knew before applying" kind of wisdom. They're just a few steps ahead, which means their advice is fresh, relatable, and probably comes with a meme or two.
They can tell you which counsellors actually help, what the food’s like on campus, if that scholarship is worth the hype, and how not to freeze in Berlin in December. Basically, the stuff no brochure or webinar ever tells you.
Because let’s face it — nothing beats learning from someone who just survived the thing you’re about to do.

We offered free calls to students and tested different session lengths — 15, 30, and 60 minutes. We discovered that 15 minutes felt too rushed, while 60 minutes was often more than necessary, especially since most students came prepared with specific questions. Most conversations naturally wrapped up around the 25-minute mark, so adding a small buffer made 30 minutes the ideal length — just right for a meaningful chat without any wasted time.

Just follow these two easy tips:
Be prepared: Note down the questions you really want answered. This helps you stay focused and get the most value from your time.
Leave a message when booking: Use the Calendly form to share a quick note with your mentor. It'll help them understand what you're looking for and come prepared with tailored advice.
Oh, and yes — parents are welcome too! We know your mom probably has a list of questions about food or dabba service initially when your kid goes abroad, housing, and everything in between. Totally fair! Who better to answer those than someone who's just lived it?

While we don’t send official notes, many mentors are happy to share a quick recap or helpful resources after your session — especially if you ask for it during the call. We also recommend keeping a notebook or doc open during the chat so you can jot down key points and tips in real-time. After all, the best insights are often the ones you didn’t expect!

There is a small fee for each session ₹ 1000 for a 30-minute one-on-one call with a mentor. This helps us ensure that mentors are fairly compensated for their time and that you get a focused, high-quality experience. Think of it as a small investment for honest, first-hand advice from someone who’s actually done what you’re trying to do!
